Poetry is a business proposition. If you think you are going to escape business by getting into poetry, sooner or later you will have a poverty-level poet on your hands. And then how do you proceed. Basically it’s his fault (most of them are still men) since he wants to play out his poet archetype and theyre always poor in the archetype. Archetype, you know, the arch figure of who we are in life, who we really are within ourselves. Each individually. Acting out our path from real need simply, to be ourselves. If indeed you know who you are, and for some of us if not most of us, it’s tough to find our life swing, since everybody is moving from place to place & job to job. Or it seems everybody is on the move, at least in job changes, if not in living place.

Real faddest help changes –- karate, akido, shiatsu, foot reflexology, Zen & the art of tennis rackets, aerobics, counter culture digging, Wittgenstein, Rudolph Steiner, Gurdjieff, the Great Vaselina, Gertrude Stein, Performances in Galleries, Art, Jewelry, Wearing Macrame, Ugly Macrame, all the latest trends, Beautiful Tightrope Walking, Sweatbaths, Yoga, Massage, Belly Dancing, Fondues, Backyard Barbecuing, Ritual, Beer-Drinking, Building Yr Own Home, Comics, Violence, Shag Rugs, Campers, Texas, New York become Macho Cowboy-Hippie, Beadwork, Running, Marx, Chinese Cooking, Shamanism, Acquiring Art, Psychology, more Psychology, Mythology, Astrology, Cutting Yr Own Hair, Movie Going, reading the Rolling Stone or rather the New Age, Mother Earth News, the Advocate, East-West, Seers, the Adobe Times, Stained Glass, American Indians, Bicycling, Organic Gardening, which is not a fad since Gardening is Gardening.
